We are lucky to have been hosting Chris Difford and his songwriting retreats for over 12 years. A founding member of legendary rock band Squeeze, Chris is a Grammy nominated and double Ivor Novello Award winning lyricist, whose retreats are well known within the industry as one of the most inspirational and creative around.
In recent years we’ve hosted a multitude of successful songwriters from the legendary Beth Nielson Chapman, Graham Gouldman, Mark Nevin, and Tom Howe, to emerging artists like Yungblud, Victoria Canal and Sam Ryder.
Seasonal Songwriting Retreats
Chris often holds several retreats throughout the year. The flagship ‘Chris Difford Songwriting Retreat’ in June is held with kind sponsorship from BMI, with artists from all over the world coming to collaborate and write for film and tv briefs – read about the latest one here . Earlier in the year smaller intimate workshops are held including one kindly sponsored by the charity Help Musicians.
