Getting Here
There is ample parking on site for those driving, with quick links to the M5 or A303. Our closest airports are Bristol (45 mins) or Exeter (1 hour). And, our closest train station is Castle Cary (15 minutes).
We run the evening bar, however you are very welcome to bring your own alcohol for the drinks reception and wedding breakfast. We do not charge corkage, however, we do need to charge a small handling fee to include cooling of bottles and also disposal of empties after your event.
We can provide you with a choice from a selection of wines on a sale or return basis.
Regrettably we do not allow lanterns, as they pose a risk to local livestock and to nearby houses and barns.
Yes, The Coach House has good disabled access.
Although there is no lift in the main House, and there are gravel driveways and paths throughout the grounds, which guests often find workable.
There are plenty of car parking spaces available at Pennard House, adjacent to The Coach House and no more than five minutes walk to the church.
You can leave your car in the same place all day and there is no need for driving in between the ceremony and reception.
