We'd love to show you around.
Pennard House is located in the village of East Pennard, deep in the Somerset countryside. Bristol and Bath are 25 miles to the north and the journey to London is roughly 2½ hours by car, or 1hr 45mins by train to Castle Cary.

Getting Here
There is ample parking on site for those driving, with quick links to the M5 or A303. Our closest airports are Bristol (45 mins) or Exeter (1 hour). And, our closest train station is Castle Cary (15 minutes).
We run the evening bar, however you are very welcome to bring your own alcohol for the drinks reception and wedding breakfast. We do not charge corkage, however, we do need to charge a small handling fee to include cooling of bottles and also disposal of empties after your event.
We can provide you with a choice from a selection of wines on a sale or return basis.
Regrettably we do not allow lanterns, as they pose a risk to local livestock and to nearby houses and barns.
Yes, The Coach House has good disabled access, with a lift to the second floor. There is no lift in the main House.
Outside there are gravel driveways and paths throughout the grounds.
We encourage car sharing to limit the environmental impact of our weddings, but for those driving there are a good number of car parking spaces available at Pennard House, adjacent to The Coach House and no more than five minutes walk to the church.
You can leave your car in the same place all day and there is no need for driving in between the ceremony and reception.
Yes, we both have heating and air conditioning!
