With sweeping lawns, a secluded rose garden and a Victorian freshwater pool, the gardens are a wonderfully tranquil place to escape to.
Pennard House has, in fact, two gardens within a garden, divided by a small lane. There are the open, sunny lawns in front of the house which are exclusively yours and, across the road, a second garden with clipped hedges and the inviting spring-fed pool which in turn feeds a series of ponds below. This second garden is shared by the family but keen gardeners will enjoy a quiet stroll among the colour, scents and blooms, while the more active can swim in the crystal clear water of the freshwater lake.
